Relaxed straight-cut shirt with high stand collar, single-button cuffs, and a large left chest pocket. Designed for overdyeing, this piece has been dyed by Kanai Kougei in Amami-Ōshima using the traditional Dorozome mud-dyeing process. The cloth, a high-density cotton linen parachute weave, was first immersed in tannin-rich Teichiki wood dye and then repeatedly treated in iron-rich mud to achieve its depth of colour and natural gradation. Each garment has undergone 25 dye cycles, resulting in subtle variations that will continue to evolve with wear, washing, and sunlight exposure.
