Loose–fitting shirt cut from 100% Supima cotton, grown in the USA. This ultra–fine, high–density typewriter cloth represents a technical achievement by the new generation of an established, family–run textile mill in Hamamatsu, Japan. In pursuit of surpassing the industry benchmark for the finest, strongest, and smoothest typewriter cloth, it reaches a density of 358 yarns per square inch, outweaving the previous record of 340. With 160 yarns in the weft and 198 in the warp, this cloth is extremely difficult to produce and requires the use of an older wooden shuttle loom, chosen for its gentler handling. The resulting cloth is ultra–lightweight and breathable, barely touching the skin, with a fine, papery texture. It rustles and crunches with movement, and despite its delicacy, the density of the weave makes it supremely strong. This garment has been overdyed, and when cared for appropriately, will retain its shape and quality through repeated wear. Woven for MAN–TLE in Shizuoka, Japan.

Slightly dropped shoulders, relaxed sleeves, pleated cuffs with single–button closure, pointed collar, button front, curved hem.
