Horses

Brands/Men

Horses is a Tokyo-based label founded by an anonymous designer with decades of experience in fashion. Departing from the conventional seasonal approach, each collection explores a different material, examining its qualities and possibilities before introducing a new direction the following season. The debut collection for Autumn/Winter 2026 is dedicated entirely to knitwear, using British Shetland wool, Italian and Mongolian cashmere, and various silk and wool blends. Made exclusively in Japan, each collection contributes to a wardrobe that develops gradually over time, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, quality and longevity.

The Stand Collar Pullover is knitted in a 5-gauge construction from a blend of fine Australian Merino lambswool and rare white cashmere sourced from Inner Mongolia. The naturally pale cashmere fibres require no bleaching, helping preserve their softness and strength through the dyeing process. The resulting fabric is lightweight and warm, with a smooth texture and a soft feel against the skin. Cut to a relaxed fit with dropped shoulders, it features a tall stand collar with a V-shaped neck opening, long sleeves and wide ribbed trims at the collar, cuffs and straight hem.

This cardigan is knitted in a 5-gauge construction from a blend of lambswool, dehaired angora, nylon and silk. The angora fibres are carefully processed to remove coarser guard hairs, leaving a fine, exceptionally soft undercoat. Combined with lambswool for warmth and silk neps for a subtly flecked surface, the yarn creates a soft tweed texture with a gentle variation in colour. Cut to a relaxed fit with dropped shoulders, it features a fully buttoned front and ribbed collar, cuffs and hem.

After Hoodie is knitted in a 5-gauge rib from a blend of wool and carefully selected Inner Mongolian cashmere. The addition of high-quality cashmere gives the fabric a smooth, soft texture while reducing the itchiness often associated with wool. Naturally insulating and moisture-regulating, the yarn provides warmth without excessive weight and feels comfortable against the skin. Designed with a separate hood and ribbed collar, it features a kangaroo pocket, ribbed hem and cuffs with integrated thumbholes.
