Wide silhouette work pants inspired by 1950s Sears workwear, cut with a relaxed fit through the hips and thighs and a slight taper toward the hem. Detailed with top-down belt loops and piped pocket linings, referencing classic utilitarian construction. Made from a cotton slub twill using super long staple slub yarn in the warp and a stronger slub yarn in the weft, giving a durable yet soft hand with a textured surface. Finished with an Asahi zipper and original tack button. Each pair is processed to bring out a vintage character, resulting in natural variations in texture and finish.

Vintage Twill Work Pants

Work jacket inspired by a 1990s Detroit silhouette, updated with a cleaner construction and balanced proportions. Cut with a relaxed body and slightly shortened length, with natural shoulder shaping and adjusted sleeve insertion for ease of layering. Shoulder pleats are removed for a more refined line. The body is partially lined with a double layer of the main fabric, adding light structure while keeping the overall weight low. The outer collar is made from cotton-silk moleskin, introducing a soft contrast in texture.

The fabric is a heavy silk-cotton twill with spun silk in the warp for a subtle sheen and breathability, and three-ply cotton yarn in the weft for body and durability. Yarn-dyed with a raised twill surface that recovers well from creasing. Finished with a Riri zipper and Fiocchi snap buttons. Hand-applied finishing creates gentle variations in tone and surface, with signs of wear developed to reflect long-term use.

Black Washed Wide Denim Pants are based on a 1922-era 501XX reference, reworked into a loose, tapered silhouette. Cut with a slightly deep rise and a zip fly, the shape is defined by side seams that swell from the hips through the thighs and knees before tapering moderately at the hem. The pants are made from a 14oz black denim with both warp and weft sulphur-dyed to a slightly grey-toned core, recalling the dense, hard-to-fade black found in vintage denim. A specialised wash reproduces the characteristic bluish-black fading associated with Euro Levi’s, giving depth and variation to the surface. Finished with original iron tack buttons that will naturally age over time, each pair shows subtle differences in colour and wear due to the processing.

Proportions and surface fading around the retrofitted areas are intentionally uneven, reflecting the wear and alteration seen on archival garments. The outer fabric is a hanging fleece developed through analysis of vintage examples and knitted at an extremely slow pace to avoid stress on the yarn, resulting in a dense yet soft structure with a fluffy hand. The thermal lining is similarly based on period references. The length is slightly extended for a more balanced proportion, avoiding an overly short fit. The shoulder slope has been lowered and the sleeve cap subtly raised to improve the silhouette and reduce creasing around the armholes. Finished with original iron tack buttons. The jacket is cut from a 13oz red selvedge indigo denim, tightly woven to replicate the yarn structure found in late 1950s to early 1960s 501XX denim, offering a pronounced vertical fade and a clear vintage character. A hand-applied processing recreates the depth and nuance of aged black denim, resulting in natural variation from piece to piece.

The Silk Nep Type A-1 Jacket is made from a distinctive twill that combines extra-long staple cotton with silk neps to replicate the irregular texture of vintage materials. The warp is constructed from loosely twisted double yarns of uneven extra-long cotton, while the weft blends softly twisted cotton and silk nep yarns, creating a fabric that is both substantial and softly textured. The cloth is woven with a relaxed density, then further softened through finishing to achieve a light, airy hand. Its aged character is enhanced through sulfur dyeing, producing natural fading and tonal variation, with the twisted yarns and silk neps adding subtle shadows and depth to the surface. The interior is finished with a thick cotton twill lining that retains natural residue.
