Danner Trail Field Low GTX draws on the brand’s hiking shoes from the 1970s and 80s, updated with a lighter construction for everyday wear and light hiking. Pebbled leather uppers are fitted with Mountain Light-style D-ring hardware, a waterproof GORE-TEX lining and a removable OrthoLite footbed. A Vibram® Kletterlift Light outsole provides traction with reduced weight, while stitchdown construction allows the shoe to be recrafted over time.
